2	1	에베소 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 오른손에 일곱 별을 가지고 일곱 금촛대 사이를 거니시는 분께서 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2	2	내가 너의 행위와 수고와 인내를 알며, 또 네가 어떻게 악한 자들을 용납치 아니한 것과 자칭 사도라 하지만 아닌 자들을 시험하여 그들이 거짓말쟁이임을 찾아낸 것과	I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
2	3	그리고 네가 참고 인내하며 내 이름을 위하여 수고하고, 지치지 않은 것을 아노라.	And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
2	4	그러나 너를 책망할 것이 다소 있나니 이는 네가 너의 첫 사랑을 저버린 것 때문이라.	Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
2	5	그러므로 네가 어디서 떨어졌는지를 기억하고 회개하며, 너는 처음 일들을 행하라. 만일 그렇지 않고 회개하지 아니하면 내가 속히 너에게 와서 네 촛대를 그 자리에서 옮기리라.	Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.	회개하라
2	6	그러나 네게 이것이 있으니, 즉 네가 니콜라파의 행위를 미워하는 것이라. 나 역시 그것을 미워하노라.	But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
2	7	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다. 이기는 자에게는 내가 하나님의 낙원 가운데 있는 생명 나무를 주어서 먹게 하리라.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
2	8	그리고 스머나 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 처음과 마지막이요, 죽었으나 살아 계신 분이 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
2	9	내가 너의 행위와 환란과 궁핍을 아노라. (오히려 네가 부요한 자로다.) 자칭 유대인이라고 말하는 그들의 모독을 아노니 그들은 유대인이 아니요, 오히려 사탄의 회당이니라.	I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
2	10	너는 고난받게 될 일들을 전혀 두려워하지 말라. 보라, 마귀가 너희 중 몇 사람을 감옥에 던져서 시련을 당하게 하리니 그러면 너희가 열흘 동안 환란을 받으리라. 죽기까지 신실하라. 그러면 내가 네게 생명의 면류관을 주리라.	Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.	너는 고난받게 될 일들을 전혀 두려워하지 말라
2	11	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다. 이기는 자는 둘째 사망으로부터 해를 받지 아니하리라.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
2	12	그리고 퍼가모 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 날카로운 양날 가진 칼을 가지신 분이 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
2	13	내가 너의 행위와 네가 거하는 곳을 아노니, 곧 그 곳은 사탄의 자리가 있는 곳이라. 네가 나의 이름을 굳게 붙들어서 심지어는 나의 신실한 순교자 안티파가 너희 가운데, 곧 사탄이 거하는 곳에서 죽임을 당하던 그 날에도 나의 믿음을 부인하지 아니하였도다.	I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
2	14	그러나 내가 네게 두어 가지 책망할 것이 있나니 이는 네게 발라암의 교리를 지키는 자들이 있음이라. 그가 발락을 가르쳐 이스라엘 자손들 앞에 거치는 것을 놓게 하며, 우상에게 바친 제물을 먹게 하고 또 음행하도록 하였느니라.	But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
2	15	그리고 네게 역시 니콜라파의 교리를 지키는 자들도 있도다. 내가 그것을 미워하노라.	So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
2	16	회개하라. 그리하지 아니하면 내가 네게 속히 와서 내 입의 칼로 그들과 싸우리라.	Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.	회개하라
2	17	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다. 이기는 자에게는 내가 감추어진 만나를 주어서 먹게 하리라. 또 그에게 흰 돌을 주리니, 그 돌에는 새로운 이름이 기록되어서 그것을 받는 자 외에는 아는 사람이 없으리라.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth i
2	18	그리고 두아티라 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고 그의 발은 빛나는 놋 같은 하나님의 아들이 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
2	19	내가 네 행위와 사랑과 봉사와 믿음과 네 인내와 네 행위를 아노니 나중 행위가 처음 것보다 많도다.	I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
2	20	그러나 네게 두어 가지 책망할 것이 있나니 이는 네가 자칭 여선지자 이사벨이란 여자를 용납함으로 그녀가 내 종들을 가르치고 유혹하여 행음하게 하고 우상에게 바친 제물을 먹게 하기 때문이라.	Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
2	21	또 내가 그녀에게 자기의 음행을 회개할 기회를 주었으나 그녀가 회개하지 아니하였도다.	And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2	22	보라, 내가 그녀를 침상에 던질 것이며, 그녀와 더불어 간음하는 자들도 자기들의 행위를 회개하지 아니하면 대환란에 던지리라.	Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.	회개하라
2	23	또 내가 그녀의 자녀들을 사망으로 죽이리라. 그러면 모든 교회들은 내가 사람들의 속과 마음을 살피는 자임을 알게 되리라. 또 내가 너희의 행위에 따라 너희 각자에게 주겠노라.	And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
2	24	그러나 내가 너희와 두아티라에 나머지 사람들, 즉 이 교리를 받지 아니하고 그들이 말하는 사탄의 깊은 것들을 알지 못하는 많은 자에게 말하노니, 내가 어떠한 짐도 너희에게 지우지 아니하겠노라.	But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
2	25	그러나 너희가 이미 가진 것을 내가 올 때까지 굳게 잡고 있으라.	But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
2	26	이기고 나의 일들을 끝까지 지키는 자에게는 내가 민족들을 다스리는 권세를 줄 것이요	And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
2	27	그가 철장으로 그들을 다스리리니, 그들이 질그릇같이 산산조각으로 부서지리라. 나도 내 아버지께로부터 받은 것이 그러하니라.	And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
2	28	또 내가 그에게 새벽별을 주리라.	And I will give him the morning star.
2	29	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
3	2	깨어 있으라. 그리고 남아 있으나 죽어가는 것들에게 힘을 돋우어 주라. 나는 네 행위가 하나님 앞에 온전함을 발견치 못하였노니	Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3	3	그러므로 네가 어떻게 받았으며 또 어떻게 들었는지 기억하고 굳게 지키어 회개하라. 만일 네가 깨어 있지 아니하면 내가 도둑같이 네게 임하리니 어느 때에 너에게 올 것인지 네가 알지 못하리라.	Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
3	4	사데에 있으면서 자기들의 옷을 더럽히지 아니한 몇 이름들이 네게 있어 그들이 흰 옷을 입고 나와 함께 다니리니, 이는 그들이 합당한 자들이기 때문이라.	Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
3	5	이기는 자는 흰 옷을 입을 것이요, 내가 그의 이름을 생명의 책에서 결코 지우지 아니할 것이며, 또 그의 이름을 내 아버지 앞과 그의 천사들 앞에서 시인할 것이니라.	He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
3	6	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
3	7	그리고 필라델피아 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 거룩하신 분, 진실하신 분, 다윗의 열쇠를 가지신 분, 열면 아무도 닫을 수 없고 또 닫으면 아무도 열 수 없는 분께서 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
3	8	내가 너의 행위들을 아노라. 보라, 내가 네 앞에 열린 문을 두었으니 아무도 그것을 닫을 수 없노라. 이는 네가 적은 능력을 가지고서도 나의 말을 지켰고 내 이름을 부인하지 아니하였기 때문이라.	I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
3	9	보라, 자칭 유대인이라고 하지만 아니요, 오히려 거짓말하는 자들을 내가 사탄의 회당에 속한 자들로 만들었으니, 보라, 내가 그들을 오게 하여 너의 발 앞에 경배하게 하여서, 내가 너를 사랑하는 것을 알게 하리라.	Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
3	10	네가 나의 인내의 말을 지켰기 때문에 나도 시험의 때에 너를 지키리니, 이는 온 세상에 임하여 땅 위에 사는 사람들을 시험하는 때라.	Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
3	11	보라, 내가 속히 오리니 네가 가진 것을 굳게 붙들어서 아무도 너의 면류관을 빼앗지 못하게 하라.	Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
3	12	이기는 자는 내가 내 하나님의 성전에 기둥으로 삼으리니, 그가 결코 다시 나가지 아니하리라. 또 내가 그 사람 위에 내 하나님의 이름과 내 하나님의 도성의 이름, 즉 내 하나님으로부터 하늘에서 내려오는 새 예루살렘을 기록하고, 또 나의 새 이름도 그 사람 위에 기록하리라.	Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will...
3	13	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
3	14	라오디케아인들의 교회의 천사에게 편지하라. 아멘이시요 신실하고 진실한 증인이시며, 하나님의 창조를 시작하신 분이 이 일들을 말씀하시느니라.	And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
3	15	내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 차지도 아니하고 덥지도 아니하도다. 나는 네가 차든지 덥든지 하기를 원하노라.	I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
3	16	네가 그처럼 미지근하여 차지도 아니하고 덥지도 아니하기 때문에 내가 너를 내 입에서 토해 내겠노라.	So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
3	17	네가 말하기를 "나는 부자이며, 부요하고, 아무것도 부족한 것이 없다."고 하지만 네가 비참하고, 가련하며, 가난하고, 눈멀고, 헐벗은 것을 알지 못하는도다.	Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
3	18	내가 너에게 권고하노니 내게서 불로 단련된 금을 사서 부요하게 되고, 흰 옷을 사서 입음으로 너의 벌거벗은 수치를 드러내지 않게 하며, 또 안약을 네 눈에 발라 보게 하라.	I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
3	19	내가 사랑하는 자마다 책망하고 징계하노니 그러므로 열심을 내고 회개하라.	As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
3	20	보라, 내가 문 앞에 서서 두드리노라. 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 그 문을 열면 내가 그에게로 들어가서 그와 함께 먹으며 그도 나와 함께 먹으리라.	Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
3	21	이기는 자에게는 내가 내 보좌에 나와 함께 앉을 자격을 주리니, 이는 내가 이겨서 내 아버지와 함께 그의 보좌에 앉은 것과 같으리라.	To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
3	22	귀 있는 자는 성령께서 교회들에게 말씀하시는 것을 들을지어다.	He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.	고전15:52, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 천사의 7 곱 나팔의 last trump(7번째) 인가?
4	2	그리고 내가 즉시 영 안에 있게 되었는데, 보라, 하늘에 한 보좌가 놓여 있고 한 분이 그 보좌에 앉으셨는데	And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
4	3	그리고 앉으신 분의 용모가 벽옥과 홍보석 같으며, 그 보좌를 두른 무지개는 에메랄드같이 보이더라.	And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4	4	그리고 그 보좌 주위에는 스물 네 좌석이 있는데, 내가 본 그 좌석들에는 흰 옷을 입은 스물 네 장로가 앉아 있고, 그들의 머리에는 금으로 만든 면류관을 썼더라.	And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.	스물 네 장로는 누구인가?
4	5	그리고 그 보좌에서는 번개들과 천둥들과 음성들이 나오고, 보좌 앞에는 일곱 등불이 불타고 있었으니, 그것들은 하나님의 일곱 영이라.	And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
4	6	그리고 보좌 앞에는 수정과 같은 유리 바다가 있고, 그 보좌 가운데와 그 보좌 주위에는 앞 뒤로 눈이 가득한 네 짐승이 있더라.	And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
4	7	그리고 첫째 짐승은 사자 같고, 둘째 짐승은 송아지 같으며, 셋째 짐승은 사람과 같은 얼굴을 가졌고, 넷째 짐승은 날아다니는 독수리 같더라.	And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
4	8	그리고 네 짐승들은 각각 자기 주위에 여섯 개의 날개를 가졌고 안쪽에는 눈들로 가득하더라. 또 그들은 밤낮 쉬지 않고 말하기를 "거룩하시도다, 거룩하시도다, 거룩하시도다, 전에도 계셨고, 지금도 계시며, 앞으로 오실 전능하신 주 하나님이시여!" 하더라.	And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
4	9	그리고 그 짐승들이 보좌에 앉으시어 영원 무궁토록 살아 계시는 분께 영광과 존귀와 감사를 드릴 때	And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever,
4	10	스물 네 장로가 보좌에 앉으신 분 앞에 엎드려 영원 무궁토록 살아 계시는 분에게 경배하며 그들의 면류관을 그 보좌 앞에 던지며 말씀드리기를	The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
4	11	"오 주여, 주께서는 영광과 존귀와 권세를 받으시기에 합당하시니, 이는 주께서 만물을 창조하셨고, 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있으며, 또 창조되었기 때문이니이다."라고 하더라.	Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

5	1	그리고 내가 보좌에 앉으신 분의 오른손에서 한 권의 책을 보았는데, 안팎으로 기록되었고 일곱 인으로 봉해졌더라.	And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
5	2	그리고 내가 큰 음성으로 선포하는 힘센 한 천사를 보았는데 "누가 그 책을 펴며 그 봉인들을 떼기에 합당한가?"라고 하더라.	And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5	3	그리고 하늘이나 땅이나 땅 아래에서 그 책을 펴거나 볼 수 있는 사람은 아무도 없더라.	And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
5	4	그리고 그 책을 펴거나 읽거나 또는 그것을 볼 만한 사람이 아무도 보이지 않기에 내가 심히 울었더니	And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5	5	그리고 그 장로 가운데 하나가 나에게 말하기를 "울지 말라, 보라, 유다 지파의 사자인 다윗의 뿌리가 이겼으니 그 책을 펴고 또 그 책의 일곱 봉인을 떼리라."고 하더라.	And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5	6	그리고 이에 내가 보니, 보라, 보좌와 네 생물의 한가운데와 장로들의 한가운데 도살당하였던 것같은 한 어린 양이 서 있는데, 일곱 뿔과 일곱 눈을 가졌더라. 그 일곱 눈은 온 땅에 보내심을 받은 하나님의 일곱 영이라.	And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
5	7	그리고 그가 와서 보좌에 앉으신 분의 오른손에서 그 책을 취하더라.	And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
5	8	그리고 그가 그 책을 취하니 네 생물과 스물 네 장로가 각자 하프와, 향으로 가득한 금호리병들을 가지고 그 어린 양 앞에 엎드렸으니, 그 향은 성도들의 기도라.	And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
5	9	그리고 그들이 새 노래를 부르며 말하기를 "주께서 그 책을 취하시며 그 봉인들을 열기에 합당하시니이다. 이는 죽임 당하셨던 주께서 하나님께로 각 족속과 언어와 백성과 민족 가운데서 우리를 주의 피로 구속하여	And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
5	10	그리고 우리 하나님 앞에 우리를 왕들과 제사장들로 삼으셨으니 우리가 땅 위에서 통치하리이다."라고 하니라.	And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
5	11	그리고 내가 또 보니, 그 보좌와 생물들과 장로들을 둘러선 많은 천사의 음성을 들었는데, 그들의 수가 만만이요 천천이라.	And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

14	11	그 고통의 연기가 영원 무궁토록 올라가리라. 그 짐승과 그 형상에게 경배하고 그의 이름의 표를 받는 자는 누구든지 밤낮 쉼을 얻지 못하리라.	And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
14	12	여기에 성도들의 인내가 있으며 여기에 하나님의 계명들과 예수의 믿음을 지키는 자들이 있느니라."고 하더라.	Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
14	13	또 내가 하늘에서 나는 음성을 들었는데 나에게 말씀하시기를 "기록하라, 이제부터 주 안에서 죽는 자들은 복이 있도다. 성령께서 말씀하시니라. 이는 실로 그들은 자기들의 수고를 그치고 쉴 것이요 그들의 행위가 그들을 따를 것임이라."고 하시니라.	And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

14	15	그때 다른 천사가 성전에서 나와 구름 위에 앉으신 그 분께 큰 음성으로 부르짖기를 "주의 낫을 대어 곡식을 거두소서. 주께서 거두실 때가 되었으니 이는 땅의 곡식이 익었음이니이다."라고 하더라.	And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
14	16	그러자 구름 위에 앉으신 이가 그의 낫을 땅에 대어 땅에서 곡식을 거두시더라.	And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

14	19	그러므로 그 천사가 낫을 땅에 대어 땅의 포도송이를 거두어서 하나님의 진노의 큰 포도즙틀에 던져 넣으니라.	And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
14	20	그 포도즙틀이 도성 밖에서 짓밟히니 그 틀에서 피가 흘러나와 말고삐까지 닿고 일천육백 스타디온까지 퍼지더라.	And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

18	14	그리고 네 혼이 열망하던 과일들이 너에게서 떠나갔으며 또 온갖 기름지고 빛난 것들이 너에게서 떠나갔으니 결코 다시는 그들을 찾지 못하리라.	And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
18	15	그녀로 인하여 치부한 이런 상품들의 상인들이 그녀가 당하는 고통을 무서워하며 멀리 서서 울고 통곡하여	The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
18	16	그리고 말하기를 '슬프도다, 슬프도다, 세마포와 자주색과 주홍색으로 옷입고 금과 보석과 진주로 단장한 큰 도성이여!	And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
18	17	그처럼 막대한 부가 일시에 황폐케 되었도다.'라고 하더라. 그러므로 모든 선장과 모든 선객과 선원들과 바다에서 장사하는 모든 자가 멀리 서서	For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

22	1	또 그가 나에게 하나님과 어린 양의 보좌에서 흘러나오는 수정처럼 맑은 생명수의 정결한 강을 보여 주더라.	And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
22	2	그 도성의 거리 한가운데와 그 강의 양편에는 생명 나무가 있어 열두 가지 과실을 맺으며 달마다 과실을 내더라. 그리고 그 나무의 잎사귀들은 민족들을 치유하기 위한 것이더라.	n the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
22	3	다시는 저주가 없고 하나님과 어린 양의 보좌가 그 안에 있을 것이며 그의 종들이 그를 섬기리니	And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
22	4	그들은 그의 얼굴을 볼 것이며 그의 이름이 그들의 이마 위에 있으리라.	And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
22	5	거기에는 밤이 없겠고 그들에게는 촛불도 햇빛도 필요하지 아니하리니 이는 주 하나님께서 그들을 비추시기 때문이라. 그들이 영원 무궁토록 통치하리라.	And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
22	6	또 그가 나에게 말하기를 "이 말씀들은 신실하고 참되도다. 거룩한 선지자들의 주 하나님께서 반드시 속히 되어질 일들을 그의 종들에게 보이시려고 그의 천사를 보내셨느니라.	And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
22	7	보라, 내가 속히 오리라. 이 책의 예언의 말씀들을 지키는 자는 복이 있도다."라고 하더라.	Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
22	8	나 요한이 이런 일들을 보고 들었노라. 내가 듣고 또 보고 나서 이 일들을 내게 보여 준 그 천사의 발 앞에 경배하려고 엎드렸더니	And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
22	9	그가 내게 말하기를 "보라, 그리하지 말라. 나도 선지자들인 네 형제들과 이 책의 말씀들을 지키는 자들과 같은 너의 동료 종이니 하나님께 경배하라."고 하니라.	Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
22	10	또 그가 내게 말하기를 "이 책의 예언의 말씀들을 봉인하지 말라. 이는 그 때가 가까움이라.	And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
22	11	불의한 자는 그대로 불의함에 있게 하고 더러운 자는 그대로 더러움에 있게 하라. 반면에 의로운 자도 그대로 의로움에 있게 하고 거룩한 자도 그대로 거룩함에 있게 하라.	He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
22	12	보라, 내가 속히 오리니 내가 줄 상이 내게 있어 각 사람에게 그의 행위에 따라 주리라.	And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
22	13	나는 알파와 오메가요 시작과 끝이며, 처음과 마지막이라.	I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
22	14	그의 계명들을 행하는 자들은 복이 있나니 이는 그들이 생명 나무에 대한 권리를 가지며 또 그 문들을 통하여 도성 안으로 들어가게 하려 함이니라.	Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
22	15	그러나 개들과 마술사들과 음행자들과 살인자들과 우상 숭배자들과 누구든지 거짓말을 즐겨 행하는 자는 모두 다 성 밖에 있으리라.	For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.	whoremonger:1 매춘부와 노는 사람; 호색가, 2 밀통하는 남자; 매춘업자; 뚜쟁이
22	16	나 예수는 교회들에 관한 이런 일을 너희에게 증거하기 위하여 나의 천사를 보내었노라. 나는 다윗의 뿌리요 자손이며 또 빛나는 새벽별이라." 하시니라.	I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
22	17	또 성령과 신부가 말하기를 "오라."하더라. 듣는 자도 "오라."말하게 하고 또 목마른 자도 오게 하며 원하는 자는 누구든지 생명수를 값없이 마시게 할지어다.	And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
22	18	이는 내가 이 책의 예언의 말씀들을 듣는 각 사람에게 증거함이니 누구든지 이것들에 더하면 하나님께서 이 책에 기록된 재앙들을 그에게 더하실 것이요	For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22	19	또 누구든지 이 예언의 책의 말씀들에서 삭제하면 하나님께서 생명의 책과 거룩한 도성과 이 책에 기록된 것들에서 그의 부분을 제하여 버리시리라.	And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
22	20	이런 일들을 증거하신 분이 말씀하시기를 "반드시 내가 속히 오리라." 하시니라. "아멘. 그러하옵니다. 주 예수여, 오시옵소서."	He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
22	21	우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 모두와 함께 있을지어다. 아멘.	The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

1	10	내가 주의 날에 성령 안에 있었으며 나팔 소리 같은 큰 음성을 내 뒤에서 들었는데	I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

1	13	그리고 그 일곱 촛대 사이로 인자 같은 이가 있는데 발까지 닿는 옷을 입고, 가슴에는 금으로 만든 띠를 둘렀더라.	And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
1	14	그의 머리와 머리털은 눈처럼 희어서 양모처럼 하얗고, 그의 눈은 불꽃 같더라.	His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
1	15	그리고 그의 발은 용광로에 달군 듯한 빛나는 놋 같고, 음성은 많은 물소리와도 같으며	And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
1	16	그리고 그의 오른손에는 일곱 별을 가졌고 또 입에서는 날카로운 양날 가진 칼이 나오며, 용모는 해가 그 맹렬한 기세로 비치는 것 같더라.	And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

1	20	네가 본 것은 나의 오른손 위의 일곱 별과 일곱 금촛대의 신비라. 일곱 별은 일곱 교회의 천사들이요, 네가 본 일곱 촛대는 일곱 교회라.	The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks.
